Jennifer Anderson-Mann
Co-Founder and Director
Jennifer has a strong legal and financial background, practicing as a commercial business lawyer for 10 years; she achieved her firm’s youngest partnership at 28 years old. She co-founded four award-winning bar and restaurant venues in 2008–2012, before moving solely in to property development. As Financial Controller and Business Development Director, ensuring tight fiscal management of projects is a key element to Jennifer’s role.
Damian Frizzell
Co-Founder and Director
Damian’s core skills of business development and project design and management have evolved from a career as a BBC journalist and documentary maker, followed by Strategic Marketing and Events Director for Vice Magazine. From 2008–2014 he was director of the Wolf Venues Group, and several profitable start-up companies. He has an invaluable practical knowledge of design and build project management and oversees the construction arm of the business.
Tom Hamilton-Hird
Head of Sales and Marketing
In 2020, Tom joined You Are Home to spearhead site acquisitions across the development portfolio and launch in-house sales. Tom brings a wealth of professional experience from within the residential property industry, having worked at senior level for the likes of London based developer Mount Anvil. Most recently he was New Homes Sales Manager for one of Brighton’s largest new home agency and consultancy firms.
Sadie Rushton
Business Operations manager
Having worked with You Are Home since 2020 , Sadie took the reins of Business Operations Manager in January 2023 . Sadie cut her business and customer service teeth in the premium hospitality industry, becoming the youngest General Manager in the market leading Individual Restaurant Company’s portfolio, before moving into large scale event management, giving her vast experience in project oversight and coordination
David Godding
Site Manager
David has extensive experience overseeing the highest quality new build and conversion projects within Brighton, and over five years’ proven ability as Site Manager. He has recently joined You Are Home as part of our growing team, and brings with him unparalleled attention to detail. His ability to deliver projects on time and to budget, whilst maintaining standards and quality, is a key attribute and crucial aspect of his role.
Neal Mardon
Head of Construction
Neal has recently accepted this new position with You Are Home, to head up our growing in-house construction team. He has experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating and reviewing tenders, logistical planning and industry required reporting. He comes from a company with a proven track record of business growth, and has spearheaded their progressive and sustainable work practices.
James Wickers
Site Manager
James is a Site Manager with 13 years in the construction industry, whose experience has been gained from working on New Build and Refurbishment schemes over a variety of sectors. He is involved with early project planning, scheduling works and overseeing the construction process; liaising with trades contractors to coordinate site activities, to maintain high standards of workmanship and Health and Safety best practice.
